Chakra Balancing & Fused Glass Mobile Workshop

Wednesdays, Oct 9th & Oct 16th from 4-6pm

Join us for a special Chakra Balancing & Fused Glass Mobile Workshop with Annette Jones, a local intuitive reader & healer, who will share her knowledge of the Chakra System. Each participant will receive a brief chakra clearing and a set of custom blended oils specifically designed for each of your energy centers.

The Fused Glass Mobile Project; create (7) fused glass shapes that represent the seven different chakras using a variety of colored glass. After the pieces are fired, a bale can be glued to the back or a hole can be drilled. The pieces can be hung with wire, nylon cord, twine or any way that you choose. The wire wrapping technique will be demonstrated during the second class. All materials included.

Stained Glass Grape Nightlight

Create a grape inspired three-dimensional night light in this 2.5 hour class using glass droplets wrapped with copper foil, and soldering them into place. Copper wire can be added for the curly vines; an antique patina adds a vintage finish to your piece. After assembling the glass portion, we will adhere it to the nightlight base. All materials included.

Glass Shard Collage Class

Wednesday, Sept 18th

5:00-7:00pm

Inspired by the “paint-by-number” technique of following a pattern of color, create a 5” x 5” clear sun catcher or slump into a single layer plate. If you have an image you love, print out a copy and bring it to class We will place the clear glass on top of the image and replicate the colors by using small glass fusible “shards” and tweezers. This class is perfect for the student who appreciates detail. All materials included.

Learn the basics of fusing and slumping in this 2-hour introductory class. Create an 8” x 8” fused glass plate or bowl using a variety of colored glass . Perfect beginner project. Pieces will be ready for pick-up with in the week.

Holiday Ornament Workshops

Saturdays 10am-12pm: August 31st, Sept 14th, Oct 21st(3-5pm), Nov 9th, Dec 7th

This year I am offering classes before the Holiday rush. Classes will be limited in December, so sign-up early.

Create three(3) unique fused glass ornaments using pre-cut glass shapes and a variety of fun bits of colored and special glass.

After pieces are fired in the kiln, a bale will be glued to the back for hanging. Additional ornaments can be made for $20 each. Ornaments will be ready for pick-up with in the week.
